The trainer doesn't touch the network adapter settings in any case but only prevent the game from accessing the internet. The Stem/Uplay clients can still access internet which is totally fine.
However, every once in a while you should launch the game without the trainer to sync your game stats properly (afaik this only applies to the Uplay game version).

Thank you, Taurusplopp. I did read that info.
Just in case anyone else comes along and reads my last few posts, I want to give an update.
Getting home last night I checked my network adapter and it was indeed disabled. Enabling it fixed the internet. I tried ten times to recreate the problem with the trainer. Logging into game with the trainer and logging out ten times, but my network adapter worked just fine.
So, I can safely say that whatever happened was 100% on my end and had nothing to do with the trainer. I'm not sure how or why my network adapter disabled itself, but for some reason other then the trainer, it did.
I appreciate the help, but it was indeed all my fault

Tried every way mentioned in posts(online, offline and whatever), still not working, game crushed after clicking "launch".
Did you follow the steps provided here -> Link
I'm still playing the game and it works great for me following those directions.

Idem 😉
I've re-installed my game in a different folder but the trainer still tries to run game from the old address even it doesn't exist, any idea how to solve this?
I've tried to re download trainer, didn't work.
