CoSMOS Gamehacking Tool

Hello everyone,
The easiest way for me to learn is to read samples. I might suggest a thread specifically created for Cosmos scripting. Maybe a moderator-managed thread they can add complex or good usages of the scripting abilities with samples.

I.E.: This script for the Game (X) utilizes Features (Y and Z). Attach the cosmos script file so we can see things in action.

This may help many of us with some level of experience but are stuck because of lack of documentation (which I get can be very difficult to create)... but instead of written walkthroughs we can have commented code samples.

This board can be used for this very purpose, just need someone to get the ball rolling.

Then i'll start going through the scripts available and see what I can do to get the ball rolling. I might need a translator now and then, so mod's can feel free to edit my posts to make things clearer. (I'm a native english speaker, but I am Autistic -- high functioning, so words are not always my friend! lol)

Sounds good. Most CE tables can be imported into CoSMOS and work just fine so you might could use some existing tables to get things going.

I don't need a CoSMOS for beginners... I need one for dummies...😝

The beginner version is about as simple as it gets. That plus all the simple tutorials we have available should be more than enough to get you started.

In Cosmos Beginner release 5.0.2.0 I was able to do some cheats on a very old game and saved my .cosmos cheat.
I downloaded the latest version i.e. 6.0.2 Beginner and now I don't even know how to use it.
What I discovered...I imported the .cosmos from the 5.0.2 version to this new version of Cosmos and it shrinked the file to half it's size. That was good.
I still have the Cosmos Beginner 5.0.2 version saved in a folder on my HDD.

If you can point me to some of the latest videos demonstrating the use of version 6.0.2 for beginners then it might be helpful to me. Thanks.

Here is a cheat table I made for an old game called Expendable (1998)
This cheat table was made using Cosmos Beginner 5.0.2 and was imported to Cosmos Beginner 6.0.2
I decided to post this cheat table so Mordist or anyone interested can view it and see if it can be improved.
