While active enemies will stay in your control point and the circle become red but nothing will happen.

Mute Hotkeys:

To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer is
activated. You can use CTRL-H to re-activate the Hotkeys as well.
You can also mute specific hotkeys by changing the hotkey you want to mute to 'NONE'.

The VR instructions are in every trainer now if you mean the ones at the top of the trainer itself where it says "VR", etc. Since you can play almost any game in VR now they include ways to turn them on and off while in VR which is great. But, most often if there's a game version that's NON-VR it has a slightly different executable than the VR version of the same game which means different memory locations.
Just speaking generally of course.
