The "No enemy collisions" options has stopped working. Ive tried everything. Antivirus, compatibility, Admin mode, reinstall, checking trainer version vs Steam/Game version. Nothing changes. The rest of the options work just fine, as they have for the last week. Its just the hit detection. Please fix this, or help figure out what Im doing wrong.

Update... I read every post, every page that I could find, read every moderator's advice, and I got it. It's the games engine, all I did was move around alot, used the stag to travel back and forth three or four times between stations, hit a few low level enemies, went back to the main menu and activated the trainer then. It all worked. Im back at it, and currently sitting at %105. Thanks CH.
I can confirm that as of July 14, 2019, the "No Enemy Collisions" option no longer works, while the other options seem to be working fine. The No Enemy Collosions option was working fine on July 13, 2019, but I noticed that Hollow Knight received an 1.8 GB update later that day, even though the version number did not change.
I've tried DerrickR0228's solution in his update, but I still can't get the "No Enemy Collisions" to work, even if the trainer says that the option was successfully activated. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
Update as of July 17, 2019: I managed to get the No Enemy Collisions trainer option to work properly by using the following procedure exactly.
Before starting, save your game at Forgotten Crossroads Stag station, which I picked for the convenient screen transition as you exit the station and the need to jump to reach the two minor enemies just outside the station.
Run the trainer, but do not activate
Run the game
Load game save at Forgotten Crossroads Stag station
Exit station to get screen transition
Jump up to reach enemies
Get hurt by, then kill at least one enemy
Enter Stag Station.
Open both inventory and the area map
Return to main game menu
Activate trainer, but do not activate any options
Load game save at Forgotten Crossroads Stag station
Exit Stag station
Jump up to reach enemies
Get hurt by, then kill at least one enemy
Enter Stag Station.
Open both inventory and area map
Activate Capture Player option, but do not activate any other trainer options
Exit Stag station
Get hurt by, then kill at least one enemy
Activate No Enemy Collision option, but do not activate any other trainer options
By following these steps exactly, I've managed to get the No Enemy Collision option to work properly. After that, the other trainer options can be activated at will with no problem.
I don't know which of the above steps are essential, or this procedure will work at other locations, or how much the order of the steps can be changed, but I haven't bothered to test it. All I know is that this seems to work fairly reliably for me.

I've tried that exact procedure, and it doesn't work for me. All other options works fine, only the no-collision one that doesn't...it worked once (yesterday) and from now i can't make it works, i've tried everything x) (even that personal procedure^^)
Every time I attempt to download the Windows Store version of the trainer the Steam/GOG version downloads instead. I've downloaded both files and they're identical in size and when you launch them they're the same trainer.
Not sure what's going on here.

Yeah I do see that, but however when I open the Trainer what it tells me is its the "Steam version" and doesn't detect the game at all. I posted an image above showing what it looks like, that doesn't seem right to me I must be missing a step here?
I've done all of the typical stuff, it still opens up as a Steam only version.

Run the trainer as admin, launch the game all the way till the point you are in-game and can move around, then press F1 to activate.
