I've never seen this behavior in a video game before. I half suspect the gamemakers are trying to screw people who use trainers.
I tried altering values--just a little, say +100 gold--and then saving and reloading the game. No dice. A constant stream of villagers.
Even with the trainer off and the game re-started, it seems to detect that a value has been changed, even slightly, and just keeps spamming the villagers.
The game got patched several times since our last trainer release (current game version is at least v0.2.6084) and we put this title on hold.
Will this game be taken back up any time soon? The current trainer does not work for food, gold or wood at the moment. Even with the crazy game updates each trainer that was rolled out for me worked fine. It is important for trainer users to note that when using the unlimited village option the game will not recognize newly created units once its activated. (wont heal them etc.) I found that just doing instant villagers a bit at a time (activating it then deactivating it when I reach population cap) the trainer and game run smoothly.
Thanks for working on this when you can.
yes, our trainers worked when we updated them to all the 1000 updates. unfortunately this game has no finish line and as you can see by the number of updates that it breaks the trainer immediately upon each update. the game literally patched TODAY.
we have no interest in spending hours on a trainer only to have it broken in 24 hours because the developers haven't even finished deciding what they are going to do with this game and it's in early access.
best,
Cal
Games that are "On Hold" status typically are resumed after the game has stabilized in terms of updates. Usually this translates as a month going by without the game being updated.
Great. thanks for the info Neo7.
