Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga Message Board  

Hi,

I've got Divinity 2 Dir. cut (DKS) from steam, but cant find how to enable the Dev mode.
I dont have the debug.exe anywhere on my pc, and when i start the game (DE) there no mention of dev mode on the games start menu.

I can get the trainer to work ok (older version 1.4.8.70 - 01.25.2012), but sadly there is no option for carrying capacity increase.

Can anyone please help with this issue?

Yes I've looked (via search) for that exe on both my C drive & D drive (steam games location), but no joy.

Where should I find it's location?

I'm playing (ED) atm, there's the option of playing (DKS) on the main menu, but nothing about dev mode or extras.

I've also ask this question on steam, but no replies yet.

Only 1 exe is all I can see (Divinity2), which is in BIN folder, I've looked in all other folders also.

I've also tried uninstalling & reinstall, same

Thanks for the link, great info about the Dev mode, but for some reason I don't have that debug - DOT exe for some reason.

I've had a quick look on the web about this issue, found a few other people having similar problem, but got no replies or a fix, unless they didn't update their post.

Also looked for a (08.17.2013 - the last trainer for it) patch, but I just see
the 1.4.9.70 and nothing about 2013 update.

I assume I have 01.25.2012 (1.4.9.70), as I couldn't get 2013 (last) trainer to work in game, but the 2012 trainer does work.

I only downloaded this game from steam yesterday.

I've now solved this issue & can play with the dev mode.

But I cant get the 1.4.700.47 trainer to run, it just wont detect the game & so no trainer activated at the start menu.

I also tried to run it as Admin, but then it just gives a error that this user has been blocked, like I've seen before, when I had no internet connection & tried running a trainer.
But my internet is working ok, so don't what to do.

I've re downloaded the trainer a few times, but no change.
So can the trainer be used when using the dev mode?

Any ideas?

You can also use our trainers in offline mode.

All you need to do is to create an Offline Key here Link (right column saying 'Offline Trainer Authentication'.

Once you created your key file put it in the same folder the trainer file is and you can use it offline.

I tried using the offline & key, but get a "user has been banned" error.

I'll play around with the offline feature again tmw.
