Thanks Caliber. If it helps, the options wouldn't work for me from the very first encounter in mycareer, so you don't have to wade too deep at all. I can't get player health affected as well as partner or opponent. I can send a save right before the second training match, if you need.
Trainer does not work in the training matches right after career start.
Just play until you have your first real match.

can people who sent me savegames verify this? That way we realize that these training matches are 'cooked', in that you are supposed to either lose them or they aren't relevant to anything..
thx,
Cal

The training matches are entirely winnable. Without cheating. Also, for example, whether you beat Somoa Joe or not determines if you go to NXT or the Main Event (Smackdown/Raw). Then, if you beat the promo face off event, it determines if you're thrown into the tag or the singles title category. The problem is, it's incredibly hard to gauge what will actually net good feedback with that, but it's beatable. A Positive/Negative reaction for promos would be extremely helpful, especially here.
