I posted in the 4th post in this topic about the leveling up and weapon thing.

I've not noticed any character wrecking problems with the issues that arise. Just save and restart the game without the trainer and once characters gain xp it all goes back hunky dory.

If all you need is a huge HP cheat, just CoSMOS the HP in and lock it.

it says its activated but when i press a key nothing happens in the game

The game did an update a while ago. I'd not played it since then but only the money cheat seems to work now I've tried it again.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Dumb question. I keep trying to download this trainer as well as Disgaea PC trainer, and each overwrites the other when I unzip them. BTW, thanks for all that you do. Enjoy your trainers immensely!

Not dumb at all as both trainer files have the same names. Just rename one to 'Disgaea' and the other one to 'Disgaea 2'.
