I had actually forgot to mention this as well
it was the same way with the D1 trainer also.

The only way to resolve this is by using the options on an as needed basis then closing the trainer or starting the game without it.

As for a Mana cheat, we can easily use CE or COSMOS to do that, just like the previous game the address used affects all characters not just the one the value was searched for. so I don't think you really have to bother with it as we could easily do it ourselves.

I'm afraid that the trainer is breaking the game, in a severe way, not only do characters not level up like they should when hitting the EXP threshold but their WEAPONS become useless as well, let's say that Adell knows two sword skills, a spear skill, and healing magic.

If I activate the trainer, just pressing F1 at the menu, he can still use all three skills and magic, but if I edit ANY STAT, be if a character stat, adding hell, exp or even using the weak monster trainer, his currently equipped weapon becomes a unknown entity, and the character/game does not register him using it, even switching out to a spear weapon does not let him use the spear skill, but he CAN still use magic, but his range and power is a limited.

The game is still playable by making all your characters move 15 squares, hit like a truck, taking no damage by having 99,999,999 defense and other stuff, but progression is more or less broken.

For someone like me who just uses a trainer like this to edit the HP of a character so I can enjoy the game without risking dying to a suddenly hard level, this major bug can completely ruin a game for me.

    I hope there's a work-around for the game.

It's odd that none of the other 180 members that downloaded the same trainer since Monday have mentioned this "severe game-breaking bug". Please provide a savegame with exact replicate instructions.

Hello PWizard, Regrettably i can see what Daiemio means. I have started a few new games tried going part way in then activating trainer and doing it immediately as well. Once you do so and amend the characters stats, the game still works. However you tend to find that the characters no longer level up (exp need to level up starts to go into the negative figure) and then the weapon mastery starts to go beyond the bar (so doesn't level up, don't quite know how that explain it properly without screen shots). How can i share my save game data to help. On the end off all this i would just like to say you guys do do a wonderful job and i can't even imagine how you guys do all that you do as well.

What's great is the custom trainer ability let's you add or subtract whatever value you want.

So if you want to undo what you added, just use negative values

I can confirm that something odd is going on, even if just using isolated options that shouldn't necessarily affect anything about the character stats, e.g. the weak monsters cheat.

Just activating (and deactivating) this results in some arbitrary results: leveling gets broken, items no longer apply stats, etc. (as others have said). Interestingly, after reloading a saved game, item bonus stats seem to constantly fluctuate resulting in flashing stats when trying to equip something.

I think the best might be to buff up HP/ATK and other stats, and level naturally. Changing gear might reset the buffs so you need to do it again or stick with your gear for a while.
