[VIDEO DEMONSTRATION:
The trainer option 3 - fast research, kinda works, in so far as it does do what it suppose to do, however whether its a bug in the trainer, or more likely just the way the game works, if you fast research (some, maybe even all) it counts as unlocked EXCEPT it doesn't really unlock that tech.
so for example if you fast research gas light, it will look like its unlocked but you'll find you can't actually modify your district to have gas lights.
Still playing around with it a bit and the game is a bit buggy so will make sure (on to my 4th game and the three previous games all bugged out after using fast research and didn't actually unlock the tech in question)

I will also second this MMOGAddict. It does seem like the Fast Research option might be a little buggy. Well I am not sure if it is the option or the game itself. It does give you the impression that the tech/research is unlocked when indeed it is not. So the option is working somewhat but not fully. Whenever you have time Mr. Caliber can you please look at the option. It will truly be appreciated and I will be gratefully. Other than that the trainer is Great!

Thank you.
I have indeed tested this again (as I really wasn't sure if the game was just buggy) and it does appear to be the case. It 'looks' unlocked, but it doesn't really unlock the tech.
When I don't use the fast research option the tech unlocks properly but each time I've used it (I've tried both gas and telegraph techs in different play through) it will not make the extra abilities and/or buildings available even though it says it's unlocked.
Options 1 and 2 both work fine.
Requested additional option if you have time, the ability to increase the city treasury/money.

The ability to increase the city treasury/money. Lol you are on a role MMOGAddict today with the Ideas. That's another Great one and I also second that. If Mr. Caliber has time I am sure he will look at additional options but I also know he is a busy man. I would be grateful for that option though. Its a pretty good suggestion.

The technology not being researched for the 3rd option happens because after 50% of research completion there is an event for that technology with several options to choose from and the research continues after that, and can only be finished the next month; however, the next month that technology is already marked as researched and that is why it is shown as researched but in reality not finished. I guess what I’m trying to say is that technology is researched in 2 steps in this game (at least till era 4, since I haven’t completed the whole game yet) and bugs out when you try to force it into 1 step. May be a workaround would be adding an option to add a certain amount of brain power to currently selected technology, since all of them have a set cost in brain power.
