Sorry, I need to say something.

I get that you guys probably over-extended yourselves with the 50K bonus points... but, these +1 and +2 trainers that you guys are kicking out aren't of the quality that we have come to expect from you guys.

Can we at least get a revisit to a lot of these titles that you're kicking out with only one or two options for games that probably could do with things like unlimited ammo, no reload, unlimited items, teleport functions, etc?

I'm not trying to slam you, but I'm just kind of surprised at the amount of these being kind of "kicked" out when that's not your style.

    Thanks!

We are doing our best with what we have. We have to spend our time very wisely in order to try and fulfill the requests and updates that grow by 20% or more each year without us being able to afford to hire or pay the additional programmers needed to keep up with it all.

This might give you a better idea:
    Link

Here are some recent trainers that we made and spent a good bit of time on:

    UnderDread
    Link
+4 options. Downloaded a total of 1 time.

    Royal Bounty HD
    Link
+13 Trainer downloaded a total of 7 times.

    Inferno Climber
    Link
+9 trainer downloaded a total of 5 times.

    Dungeons and Darkness
    Link
+5 trainer downloaded a total of 3 times.

    3DRPG
    Link
+7 trainer downloaded by ABSOLUTELY NO ONE.

....and the list goes on and on. So, was this the best use of our time? Spending hours and hundreds of dollars creating trainers downloaded by less than 10 people? No, but we did it anyway as people spent their points towards them and we honored those requests. Does it inspire us to make +20 trainers for every game that is requested by a single person? No, not particularly. Again, if we had infinite funds and could hire 5 more programmers then we would be able to put out +20 trainers that no one was downloading. Unfortunately that is not the case. We currently have 46 games in the queue to be updated and 69 new games that have reached 100% and are waiting on a trainer with an average of 5-10 being added each day. We have 2 programmers. That's just the reality of it. So, would people rather have a +1 or +2 trainer or no trainer at all? That's what we have to weigh. Sometimes we put out smaller trainers and then go back and add options depending on the number of people actually downloading the trainer and what options are requested or needed. For this game we gave you infinite health. This game is basically kill everything that moves and don't die. That's it. It's not some 4X RPG simulation, it's a button smasher. We made it so you can't die which means that you can beat the game with no problem. So far this trainer has been downloaded 8 times. Does that warrant adding in 20 more options to a game that has only one mechanic? I would argue no. However you are welcome to request additional options and when/if the time is available and enough people are interested in it then we will do our best to come back to it. That's the best I can offer you.

These VR titles are very difficult to train. First I have to setup my VR equipment which takes a bit of time until everything is recognized. Then when wearing the VR device it is hard to train a game. So everytime I am going to search for something I have to take off the VR headset, search, take it back on, play, take it off, search, take it back on, play.

It cost A LOT of time to train a VR game. It costs SO much time that I only work on them in a row. And 90% of the VR games are very simple so health or ammo usually covers everything you need.

That's about VR games in general. Now back to SeriousSam all values are heavily shared. Which makes it very difficult to find a working filter especially if you can only play the game, with the VR headset on your head, which again, makes it impossible to train the game at the same moment.

Last but not least, how many VR trainerns did you find? How many +17 VR trainers by one guy who train the same amount of trainers per month I do. If you find something compare-able you can come back and criticize my work and I'm happy to see what I can do better then.

No worries at all. I knew something had to be going on since the trainers we usually get are outstanding.

It makes sense the way you explained it. Thanks for the post!
