So, I just dled the Junk Jack trainer, and received this error upon executing:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at JunkJack_CH.Settings.ReadSetting(String pName, Object pValue) at JunkJack_CH.frmMain.PrepareGUI() at System.EventHandler.Invoke(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at DevExpress.XtraEditors.XtraForm.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at DevExpress.XtraEditors.XtraForm.WndProc(Message& msg) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
I've been in between games recently, and as such have been installing and uninstalling quite a few, trying to find one that grabs me. I do recall that another trainer I dled for one candidate gave me a similar error. I always run both the game and trainer as admin, have everything listed in the exceptions category under my Antivirus.
Also, my "Starbound" trainer functions, but a)I have to remap the keys every time I open it, and along with that, it started taking excessive time to activate. Not as big of a deal as the first issue, but it is annoying.
Thanks for any assistance!

Thank you, that regedit worked like a charm. Furthermore, I think I figured out how the problem began on my system. I first tried out the Junk Jack trainer after running the Regedit program and it worked perfectly. Afterward, I ran the Starbound trainer, which had all of its hotkeys mapped. I attempted to remap the hotkeys to ones that were mapped on previous versions, I then went to the settings, hotkeys, selected the "save trainer hotkeys" and hit apply. I then closed out Starbound and reopened. This caused the same error as I had before, with no options mapped at all. I then tried the Junk Jack trainer, and it gave me the same error as it did before, and refused to work. I reran the regedit program, and everything works as normal again, I'll just avoid the settings panel, and use the hotkeys as mapped. Thanks again for all of your help!

Can you tell me to what hotkeys you mapped the starbound trainer? Then I might be able to produce and fix the issue on future updates.

On earlier trainers for the game that I used, The "Keypad 0" was used as the first option (Enable God Mode), and the hot keys went from there, with the next option using "Keypad 1", etc. With the latest trainer that incorporated a new option (Increase Essence), all of the hotkeys were shifted so that "Keypad 1" is now used for "Enable God Mode", up to "Keypad 7." It's not a big thing at all, it just requires me to remember that the hotkeys are one higher for the options I use.
