Hi, I have done the alt + drag and it added the -eac_launcher but there was no error messages given and the trainer still kept saying that it can't find the game. I'm a little lost here, did I miss a step?

I don't think so, I did what Cal mentioned, even did what dr8breed mentioned too.
I moved the shortcut I made to the desktop, it had -eac_launcher in the target parameter as I knew how to do, and as the image Cal linked, and I still only get an error saying that The games services are not available, the message hasn't changed since I first turned the game completely offline. -eac_launcher and -no_splash don't work for me. I've tried using both at the same time, and using just -eac_launcher, no go.

@Aeterna85 - If you're seeing that in-game at the title page (I do) I'm guessing they failed to account for multiple title page messages. However, the arguments likely are processed. Typically that's just an array chewed to configure overrides.
I'm additionally running with the binary blocked from network traffic, though I did that to try and obliterate any trace of purple online bull**** anywhere on the map.
That didn't work, indicating they didn't even account for having a flag in their activity model to turn the damn icon and activation process off when no network is available to it. It simply can't do anything - my end goal achieved anyway.

If it's working, why did I still get splash screens when using that command?

? that wasn't my focus though for info when I add it for testing - it doesn't disable splash here either, but I haven't tested if they have dependency on sequence - it may.
For me and eac: With Steam + uplay combination -> uplay online mode -> WD2 properties -> game launch arguments -> -eac_launcher.
Run game no trainer as a base test using uplay "Play" option, uplay is online so it doesn't have to show the online services message warning when the game loads, so it's able to show the eac message not being installed indicating it's disabled as posted.
Not sure how many combination of installations there are, but on mine that's working as I just described. I'm simply additionally focused on disabling its ability to communicate on the network at all. Wanting as pure a SP experience as I can manage from it.

Yeah, that didn't work either. I did that as one of my first attempts. Also, starting without the trainer didn't work either.

Well at this point sounds like a ubi support ticket might be an option to figure out wtf is up. There are several sets of established ways to get eac disabled and I'm able to use the one I've described.
If none of the established ways work for you it's either still a miss somewhere, or you have some edge case scenario / configuration not covered yet. If the latter turns out to be true it should be followed up until figured out and posted for others that may be in the same boat.

Wait, what's a crc32 link? >.> So, playing in online mode for Uplay but with that EAC command, worked. I'd been trying to play with uplay offline.
