Okay, well the previous thread, the dude was an idiot.
Gold does work, but it seems to only work if you press the button during combat, you'll see the gold when you come out of combat.
One-hit kills seem to work on everyone except your main hero (enemy and friend alike). Same goes for the infinite health.
You mostly do need to watch the initiative bar (the one that scrolls to the left) to make sure you turn the options off during your enemy, and on during your ally turns, though it doesn't always work. That may just be timing on my part though.
Or, you can just fast combat it and always win.
As always, thanks for the trainer!
I'm more than happy to provide save game files or anything if there needed.

Idiocy born of tiredness and frustration. Had a long day and was a lil moody. Possibly not the only one but hey ho. That you figured out that gold would work in combat certainly shows a lot more experimentation than I would have done even on a good day. I guess I was just surprised that with two games which are on the surface are so very similar, (It shouldn't even be a separate game in my opinion. It has zero new content and is just a silly political **** take)should react so different to a trainer trying to do the same thing in both games. If I offended then I am sorry.
Hmm didn't realise that word would be censored. Urine Extractor?

I did seem to have different issues to you tho. The high damage was in effect for everyone but the real issue was health. For some reason the trainer on my game made certain classes have 1 health (Max) and on others it gave infinite. This effected both myself and enemy troops. I could kill the guys with 0 (and of course mine with zero would even enter combat) but everyone else was unkillable. Auto finish would then become the only way to end battle, and while I did win all the ones I did that with, I wouldn't wanna rely on it in case I end up against a force with more survivors than mine. The classes effected by the zero health bug were any of the recruit lines at higher levels and any of the hunter lines at higher levels. The would start fine but once you had levelled them up a couple of times they became unusable.
