Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.
I have done all of this (love the way making a bat file to do it all makes it so easy) but still not working BUT i think that it IS something to do with MOD's as i am running a new mod that changes some of the game and i really think that this is the problem, i will try the game without the mod later as it can be a pain in the A** to uninstall this particular MOD (Fire fantasy 2020)
Hope this helps

Mods and trainers don't get along as the mod will change the code/memory addresses of the game and the trainer can't find what it needs. Trainers are made for just the plain ole vanilla version.
