Dishonored 2 Message Board  

I'm experiencing the same issue as jaimyahoo with the latest Steam version trainer (Dishonored 2 Trainer 1.77.9.0 (12.17.2018)).

Fresh, first-time install of the game from Steam, using the trainer that matches Steam game version (Steam version 1.77.9.0). Disabled antivirus, ran trainer in admin mode, trainer does not detect game. First time I've ran into a problem like this here.

Referred to previous suggestion, looked on trainer, could not find a "cog wheel icon" to manually set file path, assuming it's for another trainer.

Not sure if this helps, but using Windows 10 pc, running version 22H2, OS build 19045.2251

Edit: Disregard. Above trainer works, just never detects game running. Did all of the above, clicked on F1 to start trainer, and it worked. It just never registered the game as running.

The easiest and problem free is to whitelist the folder containing all your trainers...cuz disabling antiviruses is often useless since they still work in the background.

Sadly, that is the first thing I do before anything else. In fact, the folder that all my standalone trainer is under whitelist...

Using Invisibility
Guard/anyone gets a lighting bolt abover their heads.
Now, they do not move (including the starting dude with the ring) until I unselect invisiblity.
Have to kill far more than I should.
Is this issue due to something on my own computer?
