I don't suppose I'm gonna get an answer on a four year old or whatever game, but I simply cannot get the trainer to work AT ALL. Every time I boot it, it crashes the game.
Using 1.0.3 trainer for Steam
on FC2 Steam edition
Win7 tonnes of memory, blah blah blah
If anyone knows of this and knows how to solve it, feel free to let me know because... yeah...
(Mind you FC2 has no trouble crashing on its own after a few hours anyway, but that's a different story.)
This will either be good news or bad news to you, depending on how you take it. I haven't played FC2 in over a year but it's still on my system to finish one of these days. Yeah, right.
I just fired up the trainer (ver 1.0.3) then the game giving Admin rights to both. Then I activated the trainer at the Main menu. Went into the game and played a few minutes and had no crash.
Have you made an exception for the trainer in your anti-virus, or disabled it maybe even uninstalled it for testing? Sure sounds like a possible problem with A-V. One thing to look at anyway. You might also let Steam verify file cache and delete that trainer and dload another copy.
I'm on Win-7 and have the Steam version on an I7-4770K, GTX-1080, 32GB RAM.
