trying to get add score team points to stick after I win the game it always reverts back even if I shoot some myself after I add them
As the readme says it may take a while to see the values change. When do you use this option? Please try to score some points and use it then. Do not wait until the end of a game. - Do you run the trainer in offline My Career mode?
Upgrading skills / attribute required vc. So this trainer will bypass that?
trainer works with offline created player, season, manager, whatever.
The best way to see if you are offline is to set steam to offline mode, unplug the internet from the wall, then run the game and load your save. If it says you need to be online, then likely you started an online career, or whatever.

f7 and f8 DO work in the my gm mode but I noticed it affects all teams, not just the team I am controlling.
any way to make sure it only applies to player controlled team?

How exactly do you do an offline mycareer then? I saw no option. Do you just start it not connected to internet, can't choose if you are online?
If you still like to have your network adapter enabled, start the Steam client in offline mode.
