Did you used super speed option?

I can't seem to get the editor working. I start the game and try to change a value only for that value in the editor to revert back.

The trainer portion works fine though. Thank you.

I find that if you edit the value, then manually increase or decrease it a few digits with the little arrows to the right and, finally, click outside the value box (as opposed to pressing enter) it seems to work.

So I am aware you fine gentlemen do not produce cheats for use in multiplayer. But I plan to play this with my younger cousin and want to give us a bit of a boost if I can, is it possible to use this trainer in a privately hosted/setup server? Or is there a risk it would get us banned?

That's a question I cannot answer. You will need to ask the game developers. We don't make or test trainers for/in multiplayer environment.

So I downloaded the Trainer today, set my AV to leave it alone, to leave the folder its in alone(desktop). Ran the trainer, my AV(bitdefender) interfeared with it anyways. Went in and told it to leave it alone and restore the file. Ran the file, still not working, open taskmanger find that 4 copys of it are running. I force closed them all. Re-ran the Trainer, waited and then a window poped up sayn invalid user, the user has been banned. Now I dont know what I could have done to have that happen. Please help.

Your AV is still interfering. You may have to completely disable every part of it or temporarily uninstall it. You need to run the trainer as admin inside the same folder as the game exe and make sure you have full rights over the windows temp folder as that's where a portion of the trainer will launch from. Your account is not banned it's just the trainer authentication being blocked on your end.
