Gamespot or Gamespy should have a link to all patches. I know GS does for sure but I think you need to be a member to get it.

please help me somebody i cannot install patch for generals, it says something is old bla bla bla. please help me somebody how can i update it. ( i already have downloaded the patch but its not work)

You mean that the file has been previously modified. Just get your Generals install disc and find the file that you need to get patched (it says it behind the error window, just drag it away for a few moments) and extract it from the .cab file. It worked for me on Zero Hour. I switched in between v1.00, v1.02, and v1.04, the game worked every single time, though not the trainers, only for v1.00. But that's Zero Hour, it might be different than the regular Generals.
