F1 2016 Message Board  

Here are two savegames:

First one (save 01) is just after the first practice session and will load straight into the tutorial on R&D points. It has 611 points available - which is enough to spend.

Second one (save 02) is after the second practice session and has a lot of R&D points - 999999. For this one, I used CoSMOS to give myself lots. It seems to be a 4-byte value (the upper 32-bits of it as an 8 byte value randomly fill with junk, and I can set it to be larger than 65535). Once this loads, just go into the laptop, then Research and Development to access the points.

Saves were taken from steam dir\userdata\user ID\391040\remote.

From what I can see, you can only have one save at once - those save files work for me when I replace my existing save files with them.

To get to the research points, you go to the career, then go into the laptop, then the Research and Development section. R&D doesn't unlock until after the first practice session, but you'll get a few points from each session even if you go into it, then immediately retire from the session. If you start from a team in the lowest tier you get a bonus in the first session too that is enough to buy at least one part.
