0xC0000005 is usually an error code for a corrupted application. Sounds to me like any of your security tools has made any modifications the executable in the background and damaged it.
Which security tools do you have installed?

I'm getting a .NET framework 4.6 need to install. When I run the system runs but nothing happens? I exempted cheathappens from any anti-virus running. Do I need this to run CoSMOS?
