thanks for update Cal! Is this by design? The pokemon's HP resets back after a battle.
Default is 5000hp for the trainer option. So if I use it, pokemon has 5000/36. During fight, 5000/36 shows correctly. After battle, hp goes to 36/36 (no, it's not leveling up) and will occur only for every pokemon used in the battle.

yes.. the trainer has always functioned this way.. in fact the instructions mention to set the HP high before going into battle

Found the Saved Games folder (no "My" in the name) accidentally, after an unrelated bug in the game triggered an error message. In any case, here is a RAR file of my current saved game: although I followed the program instructions to the letter, only the EXP-raising function of this trainer works for me. (I've been saving my few Rare Candies until the problem is solvable.)
The only options that activate for me are the Hp and the Xp. The others do not do anything.
Please verify that our latest trainer v1.2.1 matches the game version and that you use the trainer options according to the instructions provided.
If the game got updated ...
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
