To have such iconic game on hold should be very surprising whatever the work to be done. you have supported this game since start. why this change? Honestly not at all a good choice to put it on hold.

On a strategic / marketing/ commercial point of view to have such game with an updated trailer is definitively a must.

too many patches breaking the trainer, thus taking too much time to fix versus patching/creating other trainers

I literally updated the trainer ANYWAY as soon as the patch came out YESTERDAY, and lo and behold it PATCHED less than 2 hours later.. AGAIN. THEN it patched 2 more times, so FOUR patches in less than 24 hours.

It's ON HOLD. Let me know when they quit messing around with it. I've made many posts about the stupid and time consuming nature of these "updates" and how they are literally like starting over many times.

"Such an iconic game" and it's had like honestly 2000 patches. We've updated the trainer over 100 times. ONE HUNDRED TIMES. maybe over 120 times now at this point.

So, yeah, it's ON HOLD. It IS up to us, and this is why.

Maybe the trainer we did LITERALLY YESTERDAY still works, have you tried it?

I guess I'm in the very small minority of people here that don't mind that the trainer for this game is on hold. I mean, wasn't it updated YESTERDAY and again TODAY!? I see why you guys get tired of it sometimes but I digress.

To answer your question Caliber, I've tried the trainer and for the most part it works but with a few exceptions:

1. I got this error when trying to load the Impulse Drive cheat:

10:29:17: Script error in line 1: Cannot find aob for 'Infinite_Impulse_Drive'

2. Normally, when you have easy craft activated, you're able to craft things without the need of the required materials everything asks for for crafting or upgrading. This isn't the case now as I couldn't craft new ship & multi-tool parts without the required resources (I haven't tried the "go in ship, craft something" workaround for this update since everything was working fine before today....and honestly, I'm being lazy and just not going to bother it).

Truth be told, I got other games I can play while you guys take a break from this and it seems like a chore every time an update breaks the trainer. Take your time, take a break, and I - for one - will come back when you guys get started again when this thing stablizes. <_<

Thanks for the clarification! It just wasn't clear to me if you wanted to wait for the first hotfixes etc. and provide an update in a few days/weeks when the dust has settled, which is totally understandable, or if it is on hold indefinitely.
The following tested features don't work currently:
- Easy craft/build/open (especially with repairing broken parts)
- Unlock inventory slots (does not work on Exosuit, Startship or Multi-Tool)

PS: I would expect a little bit more transparency from you Nook, instead of just posting the exact same message that was confusing at the start. That is kind of rude and not an appropriate or professional answer to a justified question for clarification.

if you read any of caliber messages then you would know the game is patching way too much to keep a trainer updated

Folks coming here due to the recent content patch update or steam sale of the game and berating the trainer maker for putting it on hold yet they can't be bothered to read through the thread, even if it is only the past few pages, to find out why it has been put on hold or the amount of effort the trainer maker had to go through for this during the times when such players are busy with other games and not paying attention to this one. They get angry that it isn't available here and now, even if only temporarily till the patches die down, but ignore the constant support that has been given to the game over the years.

Just like mod makers wait a while for the frequency of patches to die off so that they don't have to keep updating for every small patch that breaks their mods, the trainer maker would also like to retain his sanity by giving the game a little time to settle down first. Imagine spending 8 hours to check and update the trainer only for all that work to be invalidated by another small update to the game an hour later, anyone would be royally ****ed. Cal has other games to handle as well.

Wouldn't have been too hard to just add some clarification to the "STATUS: ON HOLD" message about that you are just waiting for a few hotfixes to have gone by and then update the trainer again instead of expecting everyone to read through the whole thread.
But just a general message about some early access things that don't apply and some "very frequent" updating, that is not out of the ordinary for no mans sky, just leaves people confused.
Just be more clear next time with the status update and no one will complain. It's not about that the trainer is not updated or that many features are not working, it's just about communication, because the reason itself is totally understandable.
