I was just wondering, if a game never gets a total of 3 reports, will the trainer just never get an update? 😭 Cause I really want to play this game with cheats but with the current trainer, zero of the features work with the latest version. Is it a possibility to use credits to boost the trainer into the trainer update queue without the 3 reports or do I just have to wait for someone to report for the third time?
it would help if we had a savegame. This stupid game appears to completely remove our savegames and steam doesn't appear to cloud save them.
we can't even look at or test certain options (like supplies, etc) until you play a long while into the game.
Perhaps someone can send a save and tell us where it goes.
2 saves actually would be better. one where the supplies is at, and one where you are ready to go on mission etc.
Otherwise, almost nobody downloaded this trainer in the past, and it takes a ton of work both to play it all over again, and to work on it, only for it to break completely and need brand new trainer all over again a month down the line, for 10 times or more now.
We might put this title to retirement..
PM me if you are sending saves or posted saves somewhere
best,
cal
my save data are locatet in: C:\ user\ *your username*\ AppData\ Roaming\ .madgarden\ DR2C
i'am using the GoG version of the game, but maybe the Steam-version saves the files at the same spot, maybe a try would be worth it?
i have a old mid-game save-file, but i'm not sure if it would help (i hope so)
sorry for my bad english
Realistically, what can I do about older games with standalone trainers? I've painstakingly gone step-by-step through your troubleshooting guide - not for the first time - and receive 'To run this application, you must install .NET Core' without fail. I started at 3.1 and installed each successive set of files and tried, receiving the same result each time. This is the third computer I've tried this on since Aurora and have never had success. Maybe a dozen of my favorite games require standalone trainers. I'm not a pc-savvy person - at least I don't consider myself to be anymore - and I'm not someone with the wherewithal to make my own trainer. Not to be rude, but this is precisely why I pay for this service. Is there anything that I can do to make a standalone trainer useable?
I guess a better question is: why can't the standalone trainers be integrated into Aurora to work seamlessly the way contemporary game trainers do? I get that it's work, but it's also work on this side. And again, I'm not saying this to be snarky but I didn't sign up for that.

For older trainers you need old version of .net.
All these is needed
.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x64: Link
.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x86: Link
.NET Core Runtime x64: Link
.NET Core Runtime x86: Link
For this last link you need the latest
Link
And then you also need to set exclusion in you AV, this is regardless of if it being off or on.
The following is a set of files and folders needed. Most important is the first 3.
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\CH_Temp.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~Mnn133.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~CheathappensTrainer.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~CheathappensTrainer42.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~CheathappensTrainer540.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~CheathappensTrainer762.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~CheathappensTrainer915.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90\
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\CH.dll
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work\Runtime\~CheathappensTrainer2193.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work\Runtime\~CheathappensTrainer4639.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work\~CheathappensTrainer103.tmp
As for integrating them to Aurora. This is only done if they don't work anymore and need an update.
Moving them is a lot of work, and many of the trainers would need to be remade in order for it to work.
Hope all this helps
