I'm having an issue when I try to activate the launcher at the main menu it just states that the trainer cannot find game. Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this or what I may be doing wrong?

Same thing for me.
Run the launcher and the trainer in Admin mode.

lunchboxes and pet boxes aren't stored in such a way as to make them unlimited. BTW, the lunchbox mechanic is the way Bethesda hopes you will BUY STUFF WITH REAL MONEY in this game. We probably wont be messing around with that.
You can use the NUKA COLA to reset the current objectives for your dwellers so that the new objective gives you boxes. You can quickly and I mean quickly get a ton of lunchboxes using that cheat.
Pet drops were rare, and I never saw Mr. Handy.

This is false. Check this link, if you take your .sav file from PC or mobile and drop it on this site. You can mode your lunch boxes / handys.

Unless the game is actually running then the trainer cannot find it. Run the game and wait until you are moving your dwellers around if you can't seem to get the trainer to find the game. Also, keep in mind certain options require this as well
from the instructions:
"Wait until you are in the game and can move your dwellers around
before trying to activate options."

I tried that and the trainer still can't find the game.
If the press right mouse button and run as administrator does not work try disabling the AV, or give some feedback about what system you are using windows 10 / windows 8 what ever it is, all we can do is go with the standard run as administrator and the AV issue besides that make sure the trainer is running before the game is launched and press f1 when the game is running and you are in the main menu, doing it after you enter a vault and you could get the issue with nuka cola and caps not activating when using the buttons even when it says activated.

That certianly sorts the lunch boxes n MR handies but sadly not the pets.
