Can you confirm that you can play it completely offline in single player with no data stored server side?

I rather doubt it due to 'Play Anywhere'.

Good for health, bad for education.

I think it should be fine. I just downloaded and played a little bit. If anything is stored server side, it's a copy of the games save file to load between the PC and Xbox versions. MS backs up save files, either way, especially if you're an Xbox Live Gold member. It's worked that way with me when Quantum Break first came out. I started it on Xbox and finished it on PC.

Also, Forza Horizon 3 and Resident Evil 7 are play anywhere titles. I haven't had an issue with either. This game is a single player game with zero online. It does have micro transactions, however. I'm hopefuly something can be done.
EDIT: BTW, trying to post this by quoting the above post triggered a firewall warning of some kind. I had to not quote it for the post to go through. Some kind of error, perhaps?

Yeah me too!
I'd love having a working version for the windows store edition.
I'm not using steam and i'd like to keep it that way, but it's great that some games like RE7 and others have already had their trainers for the windows store version

I'm sure that it is the devs for forza that are banning people, not microsoft as the whole game is essentially online as the single player saves can be taken online.

Has anyone tried just contacting microsoft support about it, as it isn't a sensitive subject like 'Will my console get banned for using an account that I stole to play their games."

The new version that was released is still giving me the "Trainer Cannot Find Game" message. The version on the trainer says "Steam Version" on it. Was this perhaps a different version uploaded accidentally than the one for the Windows Store?

When I open the Win.rar file it just gave me a readme file not the trainer it self. 🤔
