Well I just got that lovely full screen crap from MS about upgrading to win10. Sorry MS but am not bugging.
I have told it am not interested. But I at this point dont trust their stuff now. So I am expecting it to try and upgrade to win 10 by the 29th of July. If it does al be reverting right away and if it mucks up my system. MS will be getting contacted by my lawyer.

I'm avoiding problems by filtering their patches and prefer to sacrifice some moola to get it (WinX, at least Pro) and keep it on a separate, protected hard-drive
FYR, there are a couple of third-party freeware available that can disable the forced upgrade, and even delete all Windows 10 installation files that may currently reside on your PC.
1) GWX Control Panel [ ultimateoutsider.com/downloads/ ]
or
2) Never10 [ Link ]
EDIT: Interesting...the url formatting function automagically adds an https to a regular http address.

Yeah grabbed the GWX. But I have the feeling MS will be like hahahahaha yonk forced in.
If you really want to be sure, then you could also grab Never10 and check whether the upgrade setting is truly disabled and all Win 10 files have been removed. IMHO, I prefer Never10 for its more straightforward design, where I'm not overwhelmed with options like in GWX.
Likewise, I also hope that I can retain my Win 7 PC intact past the July 29th deadline. Among other reasons, I have a 15+ yo HP laser printer that's still going strong, but is not compatible with Win 10.
yeah that Never 10 states its already disabled that is good to see. I need to work on two more systems. One for my mothers crafting stuff. Which dose not like Win 8 or above.... And one for the old man so he can play his games or just might combine them. I should be able to use my win7 code for that when I upgrade to pro so I can utilize my whole rig.
