Bought this game during the Steam summer sale. Started playing today. I found out that I could tweak the saved game file. Still playing around with it but so far gave my self more money, more exp, more skill points, and more perk points. This games OK so far. It should be more fun when I can use a more powerful ship.

I'm about to dig around myself, but, was it fairly easy to find the perk and skill points?

Sorry, it's been a while since I've checked this. You can search SkillPoint, or Perkpoint. Besides tweaking that stuff you can also give yourself any ship(so far), or give yourself a huge fleet, with as many Battleships, Carrier's, or Dreadnoughts. As long as your PC can handle it. It's just a matter of using the proper names and copy/paste them into your savedgame file.

How do you do it? Just edit one of the save file files with notepad++ or something?
