I just want to give a quick shout out to everyone to be careful of the emails you get from
[email protected], (fake not real) I received an email stating I had a private message from someone asking if I had certain games and I, (being weary of just about any kind of email anyway) was just a little bit suspicious of it and instead of clicking the link, came here to check... nothing new here. So as I began checking the message source of the email and comparing it to ones I knew were from CH, I could tell a major difference.
In the message source, one specific line in the from section states (in the fake one)
Received: from HCHEATHAPPENS ([] (may be forged))
where as from a real CH email it states
Received: from Dingo ( [] (may be forged))
be very careful to look for this since in the real email i didn't have to scroll to find this portion, but in the fake email i had to scroll down a little to find it.
In short, if you receive a random "private message" email from someone you don't normally talk to on here... come to the site and check, do NOT click the link in the email as it will take you to a fake site.
I hope this helps everyone, including staff.
