Click on the gold number at the top left first. Press hotkey. Click on it again to see it has changed.

Maximum Population:
Click on the population number at the top left first. Press hotkey.
Click on it again to see it has changed.

Turns:
Click on the turns number at the top right first. Press hotkey. Click on it again to see it has changed.

I don't know why, but the game is crashing when I press the play button after activating the trainer. I've tried the trainer trouble shooting suggestions and also made sure the required files from the read me were up to date but so far nothing has worked. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it working?

Same here ... I guess the trainer needs updating to the new game version

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
