I was thinking of changing items and their attributes. I'm not sure how to go about it though. Anyone here had experience with doing this?

Yes, the trainer "Read Me" file note to hover over the selected attribute and press the hotkey to raise the attribute by one. Which hotkey are they talking about in order to make edits?
