That made things a bit easier at least. Still not much of an idea what I'm supposed to be doing though.

Only problem I had was that when I started the trainer first all the graphics were missing from the game when I booted it up.

Starting the game then alt-tabbing out to start the trainer worked fine though. So no problem as such. Just a mention.

HSA.. Halo Spartan Assault, the other game that you and I have discussed that works for you and doesn't for me. Although this one doesnt do what Halo Spartan Assault does with asking me what app I want to use to run the trainer program.. but it still doesn't load. ie.. it doesn't work. Just like HSA.

The links showing it working fine are great. Not helpful to me, as when I click on it it shows the little loading bar and then.. well.. nothing. But they look great on your screen shots.

I have disabled/uninstalled all antivirus, firewall and other security apps including browser addons and extensions.

I have right clicked "Run as Administrator" on the trainer and game.

I have tried running the trainer, running the game, alt-tabbing to trainer and pressing F1 to activate and then alt-tabbing back to game to use options.

And yeah, I get it.. you can get it to work on your machine, so there isn't anything wrong with it and it has to be something I'm doing even though I'm following directions. Just sucks that I cant get it to run. 😐

The readme says the trainer and this file C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~Mnn133.tmp must be excluded. Are they?

Interesting.. I think that is the file that windows doesn't know what to do with when I try to launch HSA. It comes up with the 'what do you want to use to run this?' prompt, like a .tmp is an exe or something and before I disabled it, it was also the one that Kapersky got all uppity about. However, I cannot find it in my temp files under windows, and I cannot get it to appear by trying to make it launch, as according to the writeup, it only shows when the trainer is running..

cant exempt a file that a system requires to run if that file doesn't exist until that system is running. Sort of makes it impossible, as you can't do a thing without a thing, but you cant get to that thing unless you're doing the thing you can't do. Yeah.. that'll work. Somewhere? 😵

So... any suggestions on how to access a non-existant file to exempt it before it exists to be exempted in the first place? Not trying to be a jerk, but I really cant see how that is possible outside of time travel or reality manipulation, and unfortunately I do not have those powers (love to have em, but.. eh.. can't hack that code). Oh, and yes, I do have view hidden on, I checked. checked. and checked again cause that really is the only thing I can think of is that it is hidden somehow.. but I dont see it in /windows/temp


I assume by 'adding the trainer' to exempt, you mean going into the antivirus program (Kapersky, in my case) and telling it to ignore the subdirectory that the trainer master program and all the various trainers themselves, are in. Right? If so.. yeah, been there, done that. And it is always the first thing I check (and usually re-do) if I have an issue with one of your guys' trainers. I dont have them often, but when I do it usually ends up in this sort of deal where you guys are telling me to do stuff, I do it, and nothing changes so no trainer. Probably user error, as I am not a computer guru or anything, but I'll be damned if I can sort it.
