First of all, this trainer is awesome. I've been able to get a lot further in the game.
That said, I'm now hitting the limits of the items that I have and I'm not doing sufficient DPS.
I start to hit the limit around level 650.
Normally I use the Firestorm ability (Princess) to wipe out 50% of the monster's health and just rinse and repeat until I wipe the monsters. It can be a bit tedious, but it gets the job done.
However, in one of the scenarios (Teacher's Pet), she is not available on some levels as she is 'polymorphed' into a frog.
Without her Firestorm ability, I'm back to relying on DPS and this is where I hit a wall.
I've let the game run for a while so that I can increase my XP levels as well as use as many Storm Rider abilities to buff my DPS, but at these levels, the monster's HP is many magnitudes higher than my DPS. I'd probably need to up my DPS by a factor of 10^6 to 10^9 to start making a dent in their health bars.
Has anyone else had this issue?

PS. I've unlocked the Tier 2 in the Talent Tree and to complete the Teacher's Pet scenario, I need to get to level 700.

I agree.
I think it could be easily done with an option that add xp (each adding 100% dps to the crusader)...
Of course I'm not the expert, so I have no idea if it could be really that easily. But from my knowledge of the game it is a temporary parameter messing with wouldn't risk to break the game.

Or, eventually, a CD reset...
