AV and Firewall are off and there are no mods installed.
I will re-download the trainer and see if that fixes it...

Yeah it was updated, but just a free content update and some extra files for the new Norse faction in august. I belive the .exe was left alone same as the patch. Seems like everything still works.

Strange issue here. When trying to run tww-NorthAI.exe (same naming scheme as other trainers, same folder, admin privs etc) I get an error message saying "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect." and the exefile just disappears.
This doesn't happen in any of my other trainers with the same naming scheme, or the ones with the new Number-Username-Gamename.exe naming scheme. There are no characters in the folder, drivename or exefile name that should trigger this error, and other trainers work just fine.
It's almost as if it renames itself before launching or something, the way you used to be able to add characters like ! etc to the beginning of filenames to hide them from view. I am way out of my depth here and can't tell what could possibly be causing this.
There has been one game update since I last ran this trainer (and it worked just fine then) and I've both downloaded the latest trainer and got the latest Win10 updates, etc etc. Tried with AV and such off and on, no differences there. Can't see how that would lead to -this- problem though.
Anyone got any ideas?

Do you mind moving the downloaded rar trainer file into a folder that is actually excluded from any antivirus/other security scans, extract it in there and then run the trainer with admin rights?
Please let me know if this changed anything.

Genuinely haven't the faintest idea how to do that. Best I could do was completely kill all AV processes etc and try it in a fresh folder on another drive. No dice, same result.
