Thanks, as a workaround activate the trainer at the fish selection screen instead of main menu. I'll take a look on it tomorrow.

The trainer won't run on my PC. I don't have any problem with other trainers from CheatHappens. I can see the process has started when I look into task manager, but only in the detail view. It doesn't use any CPU resources and only uses about 9MB of RAM.

Obviously I first excempted the trainer from Bitdefender ToSe, then I even uninstalled Bitdefender to try, didn't help. I also tried running it as Admin in all stages. 😩

I run Win10 x64.
Do I need any special runtimes for this trainer?

I am almost positive it is Bitdefender that is the problem, you need to turn off advanced threat and exclude the trainers. Bitdefender is the root of all evil for any trainers.

Thank you for your reply. I've installed .NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x64(the others were installed) and uninstalled Bitdefender again. This helped, kind of. I installed Bitdefender again and now it doesn't work again.

Well, I now found out I just have to disable the Advanced Threat Defense in the settings of that category and can start the trainer.
It seems like this trainer tries to create a evb****.tmp file in "C:\Users\%USER%\AppData\Local\Temp". I can't create an exception for the whole folder for the Advanced Threat Defense.

So am I just unable to use the trainer without disabling the feature each time?

Have to turn advanced threat off every time, as I believe it just turns itself back on after a brief period.
