Verified the game is the latest Steam version: reboot edition because I installed it fresh from the Steam Client.

You need to launch the Reboot Edition through the Steam client and not the Desktop shortcut which only launches the old game version. - Trainer activates fine on my side.

The instruction did not say how to not apply

Numpad 1: Unlimited Credits - toggle this on and you have unlimited credits to
build.

Numpad 7: Instant Units - many units that are produced in buildings will complete
much more quickly.

and I didn't ask for Damage System OFF, so maybe little bit confusion there?

iff there is comming a new trainer version could plz be made whit the new trainer look avast has no problems whit that 1 old version off the trainers avast is getting haywire.
trainer needs to be update becausse the game has also bin updated.
v1460061062 is new patch number
