Resident Evil 5 Message Board  

Tried running Trainer for RE5 but wont activate while in menu. Other trainers work fine with other games but this one.

Trainer 1 only works with GOLD EDITION. Trainer 2 works with regular. Use one that matches your game.

Tried the both trainers, even though i have RE5 Gold edition. Regular trainer will activate but as soon as i start story mission and fire off gun once, the game crashes. So far, neither trainers work for me. and i've tried all recommended fixes and still nothing.

for gold edition, run the gold edition trainer and make sure to use the direct x 9 version of the game

Actually I have the same problem with the gold edition (Steam version) and with the added twist that there is only one executable named re5dx9.exe. There's no DX10 executable to be found. So I can only assume that the version of the game that is running is always the directx 9 one. Still, the trainer gives a "trainer cannot find game".

I've tried everything, but it's just say "Trainer cannot find game".
I have the latest steam edition RE5 gold edition.
