Thanks for the tips Neo7, its not that though.
I'm, running windows 10. have 2 drives. my os is on an ssd and everything else on a hdd. until recently i had all trainers on my desktop, which became a mess. i moved everything from my desktop to folders on my hdd. i then created a toolbar on my start bar linking to the main folder where my trainers text files and game shortcuts are. Link I have no problems running any apps games etc from here, but CH trainers wont work at all. i was wondering if you would have any idea why? the trainers do work if i open the folder manually and run them from the folder.

Sounds like Windows Defender is preventing the Temp files from logging the trainers. If you have Windows Defender running make sure you exclude the temporary file. If not, you may have to turn Windows Defender off temporarily.
