Can't even turn off staggering? Dragon Amour destroys me unless I'm using something longer than a straight sword. He's even gone so far as to throwing me off the bridge... literally. Sword swoop and stagger for days.
Poise no longer works like in DS1 and 2. What it does now is increases the amount of super armor hits you have whilst in the middle of an attack.
So, if you're in neutral position or walking/running you're always going to get staggered, period. If you're in the middle of a huge attack, then depending on your Poise, you will armor through whatever hits you and still get off your attack. If whatever hits you exceeds the amt of Poise, then you get knocked out of your attack.
Its ****, I know... Really ****
By the way, I've been wondering if it would be possible to have an option that, like the increase carry weight AKA Mega Load, would be temporary option that increase your characters pois (not poison) so we don't have to carry heavy gear to not get knocked around or staggered so much.
I noticed that the Mega Load option in this game is permanent unlike in previous games. If I use it, my load is 10,000 (plus stat modifiers) which is great, but then it never goes away. I can start a game up and not have the trainer on and that character that I used that option with still has 10k plus load. I do not know if this is intentional or a glitch, but considering things have changed in DS3, I assume it is just something that was overlooked?

You could probably fix this by buying another level of vitality so it recalcs your equip load.
Anyone else having issues with the "No III Effects"? Swamp poisons me with it turned on and I also get cursed from the frogs. Am I doing something incorrectly(i.e. being dumb) or is there and issue with it?
From what I can report, I do NOT see the "you are being poisoned bar", but then I receive a "You are poisoned for this long bar" (same thing with any status actually) and obviously with curse I receive none, because well curse.
It's been reported many, many times. Realistically the only one you need to be worried about is curse as poison/bleed/frostbite/toxic does nothing to you while you have health cheat on. Curse is practically a non-issue as there are never that many of the frogs and they're fairly easy to kill.

Okay, thank you.
