There is a true singleplayer element in this game, when you go the garage or into the city you can go to your Settings/Game Settings and there is a setting that says "Play Alone" which disables the online component "Play AllDrive" I believe. This option is not visible during the main menu.

the question primarily isn't whether you can make people not be in the world with you, it's if you are using dedicated servers to store your account information and not client side making things server sided

I have a feeling that a trainer may not be possible I used CoSMOS to try to change the money and the values would not change in game. I am thinking that it may be server side.

I was able to change some values, but they wouldn't stick. I was able to purchase all the cars, until it said purchased failed on the next screen. Their were around 6 (4 byte) and 2 others that would have a decreasing running total of $ spent.

Yeah. I'm hoping that a trainer is possible for this version as well.
I don't have the time these days to grind the experience and money.
Especially since I like to play other games with the couple hours I have to myself.

we have the game downloaded and will be checking it. but every source and mod location i have checked are all reporting that the game's main stuff, i.e. money, nitro, etc. appear to be server sided.

No promises and no ETA. Stuff like this I might work for 7 hours only to find that everything I try to do is thwarted due to server sided checks or values.

If this turns out to be another online only game I'm gonna be ****. They gonna need to stop with these amazing games to be only online playable. To many goon looking games that could been offline had already released. I like to have a really good game that I dont have to worry about my internet connection (not saying its bad, its actually top notch and very fast) if it goes out I like to play a awesome game while I wait till it gets back on. NFS always had offline singelplayer I just hope they don't stop. I know multiplayer is great and not saying they shouldn't have it online but these game companies need to have both online and off its bad enough there are hardly any games that you can play multiplayer under one console, about 90% of games multiplayer are only online
