Great Trainer... just one issue I am having with the latest 1.4.2 version and I am not sure what is the problem.... When I run the trainer, it says Activated and it keeps repeating it over and over and over indefinitely... its like Act Act Act Act Act... and it keeps on going no matter what options i press to activate or deactivate.. if I mute the trainer it says deactivated and it stops but as soon as I unmute it, it starts over again.
Note: I do have the HD pack installed... if this might help figure out the issue.
Thank you.
Please reboot your PC and try again.
I can for the life of me not get this trainer running, and it's bafcheathappens me.
After opening the trainer, the logo for cheathappens appears, and after 3-4 seconds it just dissappears. Checking the app manager, it just shuts down for no apperent reason.
I've run all the general troubleshooting tips through to no avail. I've even tried running several other trainer(Even the promo version trainer for this game), which all work fine. No problem at all.
But the real deal - nope.
Anyone else having this issue?
If you have already unblocked it from your Antivirus' Firewall and/or Windows Firewall, and you do not see anything in the "Notifications" about a program being blocked.
I'd suggest trying to download the Offline CH key
Here: www.cheathappens.com/trainer_troubleshooting.asp (On the Right).
It sounds like something is Blocking the connection or your Trainer simply cannot connect online.
That is the wierd part. I have excluded it from both Windows Defender and my AV software, even though the never usually mind the trainers from CH.
I have as you also suggest tried running it from offline mode with a key, but to no avail. The trainer-logo still pops up, and sure says it can't find a connection, and is going into offline mode, but then again just stops.
Again, this is what is so bafcheathappens to me, because every other trainer works. It's only this one it minds. Hecking confusing
I have also checked my quarentined files, in which the trainer does not appear.
Thanks for your suggestions tho
Then please provide some information about your AV software. What edition and version if possible.
Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer in is folder excluded from virus scans.
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin and try again.
This actually did something even though i could not see any files related to this trainer. My AVG Free edition(Im a cheapskate i know), sudden reacted to the file, saying it was a threat. I excluded it for further scanning, and made sure it was not quarentined. Then i ran the trainer.. and still the same problem :P Logo pops, stops after 3-4 seconds.
To the other poster about my AV software. Normally i run just AVG, but after it failed with the trainer, i uninstalled it, making Windows Defender kick in. I ofcourse checked that it was excluded and not quarentined in both programs.
Again, thanks for your suggestions.
EDIT: Okay, something new happens. I tried making a new folder, rahter than having it on my desktop, and excluding that folder from scanning by AV. And it worked. Somehow. Throwing me a hecking. Cheers for all your help, they lead me in the right direction ^^
