Far Cry: Primal Message Board  

It's weirdly good.

I have played the first Farcry completely. I then have really only played an hour of 2, 3 and 4. I don't know what it is but I guess I get bored quickly with them. Farcry Primal on the other hand I have spent currently 10 hours and 30% completion into it.

I don't think it's any different than others, other than the kind of weapons, but there is something keeping me playing, but I don't know what lol

As for performance. I am running at 4K resolution and getting 35FPS average. It's maxed out of course. Which is pretty much decent for most modern titles on my 980TI. The only game I have played recently that gets more than 40FPS is Mad Max. The game hasn't crashed or anything and seems stable.

I know many complain when comparing to other Far Cry games, however I'm having fun with it. Nothing better than playing as a cave man where you're not the top of the food chain.

And it is the best way to move. Even with top end dual cpus, 64GB of RaM twin nvidia and cooling system better than antartica itself... FAR CRY series are always best to left until first patches are around the net.

Even if the reporters of issues seem louder... they are a warning sign for the rest of us
