HF stands for hotfix, it has no big difference except for which of the versions of the game it matches if you use latest version of the game fully updated use the last trainer released, if haven't updated since the last trainer you used stick to it.

With the recent release of the Survivor mode and Permadeath --- and the recent trainer update --- it now seems that the "no Damage" mode ( key #1) does not work with random animal attacks -- where one has to mash a key rapidly to survive. Did the "no damage" mode ever protect one from The death that results?? With the Permadeath option --- one is now toast -- and does not respawn. Can a solution in the trainer be made for this ---- as a REAL "no damage" mode ?? Or some kind of invisibility as in Far Cry 4.

Same here - under animal attack the health lows down. 🤔

I though it's was only happening with me...

    Greetings!
I play video/PC games since PONG was released ...
No, I'm not an old man... I'm young man for longer than you!

    Greetings!

so can you just select to change to this mode or do you have to completely start over with a new character?

does the no damage still work in the normal modes?

    best,

When you begin a "New Game" and select the Survivor or Permadeath options ---- then --- if you die --- the game is over and you must then start a new game from the beginning --- terribly frustrating. The 'no damage' works during the game normally ---- except when one is attacked by an animal and the only solution to live is to rapidly push one of the keys --- or else you take a lot of damage and die ---- game over.--- and it's REALLY over --- no save game to load ---- back to the beginning.

If a solution is possible for this ---- I would explore the possibility of an 'invisible' mode --- like what you guys provided for in Far Cry 4. That was a HOOT --- and made the game so much fun --- and ---- after all ---- this is what playing games is all about.
