No I don't use shoretcuts and I've looked to see if their was any associations between CoSMOS and the trainer, and I can't see anything!, that's what I find strange how when opening the trainer does CoSMOS open when it's a different program?... 🤔

CE's file association can get corrupt, uninstall it use something like ccleaner to clean out the registry and old files, reboot PC, start the editor again and close it if it opens properly. re-install CE and try the editor again it should be back to normal.
may need to reset default apps in windows if above does not do it.
