Quantum Break Message Board  

If you go to the store on your Xbox One, part of the description of the game says the following:

"You may pre-download this game, but it will not be playable until 12:01 AM EST on the release date."

Though, that's only the Xbox One version. It also says the following regarding the Windows version:

"Free Quantum Break Windows 10 game offer valid with pre-order of digital copy of Quantum Break for Xbox One, by April 4, 2016. Windows 10 game code will be sent via Xbox system message around the week of April 5, 2016."

So it should be playable on Xbox One at midnight, but you'll have to wait for your code to download it on your PC if you ordered it like I did. Not too sure about playability if you only ordered it for PC.

Apparently it uses UWP, not confirmed however but it's suspected.

Keys for PC version will be delayed for a week.

But the game is in the windows 10 store right now.

I'm sorry, my news was about keys delayed for those who bought the xbox version (and get a free pc key too), thought it would be the reason for the game not to appear in the windows store. But you are right the game is now available.

Wow just checked the store for this game... nearly 70GB download and $100 for this game in my country for a 10hr digital game that's absurd. If this is how the Windows store works I'm out. Heard you can't even access basic game files either without taking ownership of hidden folders, but even then can't mod or even delete annoying intro splash screens, disappointing.

Looks like I won't be playing this game for a while.
