Does the trainer react after pressing actrivation key? See if you can move the window of the trainer around.
Another reason might be that your trainer hotkeys are turned off. Is your SCROLL key active? At the trainer main tab at the top right , keyboard symbol, you can see if trainer hotkeys are deactivated.
