Kaspersky has kept my system clean for years, only once had a trainer that Kaspersky refused to allow, but the following instructions, and if you just have to cheat the crap out of some game ... either disable the AV prog, or add an exclusion .. If the AV allows that.
Even though i really think it gives a false sense of security, I don't think any bad ass hacker specifically would target me for hacking while the AV is turned of for the gaming session, and make it explode in a wall of fire and shrapnel 🙁
I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security for almost 6 months no issues. Just had to make a folder exclusive for CH Trainers and make sure Kaspersky excluded it from it's scans. No problems since installing it unlike Bitdefender even telling it to exclude the CH folder it routinely deleted trainers it did not like without telling me. For now i'm staying with Kaspersky no issues since day 1.
