Be careful with the trainer until this issue is solved. Supposedly, some people received a VAC ban for DL using mods or trainers. According to the forums the new version (9th Feb) will include VAC and Steam already activated the VAC system without warning. Just a heads up.

yeah I saw an option in the online section about going into servers with a VAC option on or off

Hmm, I would assume if you set the online session to single-player you will be fine.

Yea be careful guys. They Activated VAC on the 29th without informing anyone. And those that were using mods/trainers got banned immediately without anyway to turn off VAC.

Luckily I hopped on the game today and had the option of making my game not Vac Secure so I think I dodged a bullet. If I had played the game prior and used the trainer, I probably would have been vac banned regardless of playing Single Player.

I want to be sure before do something wrong : I have just buy this game, i have download the trainer on CH and a mod to have all objects in the shopkeeper on the nexus. Can i use them safely if i play in single player ? 🤔

Don't do that. I don't think that the mods are actually working because they have to rebuild them for the patch version of DL. The possibility of starting a modded game was taken out in the latest patch and mods are currently not supported. If VAC detects a modded file you will get banned.

You can use the trainer without any problems though if you turn VAC off and set your game to single player or private.

How can i turn off VAC please ?
