Thanks for the update! I wanted to add this for general knowledge in case it helps anyone. For those who are having problems with using the trainer, here is what I've found.
First, the new trainer didn't work for me, so I ran a clean install and kept my missions.txt file so that I didn't lose my campaign progress. I loaded it all up, started the next campaign mission and no luck.
So, here is what did the trick for me in the end:
On starting the game, load the trainer. Start a custom mission first, then click the options. At this point, the trainer works for me. I return to the title, then loaded a mission/start next campaign mission. I press the options again and the code still works. I can confirm that this trick works for me even using the mission.txt file from v1.1.0.
100% of the time, if I tried to load a mission BEFORE I created a new custom mission, it fails.
This is just my 2 cents in case anyone is desperate and trying to get it to work.
Hope this helps! 😀
thanks for the tip.
the game creates code in random memory and at specific times.. it may also create 'unique' code depending on the situation.
If this works for you and others, then thanks for the tip
best,
Cal
I still only get the "failed" sound whenever I try to use an option. I am using the 1.1.1 trainer and my game is the same version.
Please read what Caliber wrote on the first page of this thread -> Link
You might need to uninstall a 32-bit Java version and install the 64-bit version -> Link

I was having the same problem reported, trainer activated but failed on a loaded mission. the tip about starting a custom game then returning to title and then loading a mission works for me. Thanks Khorl,
